Agora Energiewende
Europe and an increasing number of other countries and regions in the world have decided to become climate neutral by 2050 at the latest. This will imply not only energy systems becoming fully clean within the next 30 years, but also the industrial sector reaching climate neutrality within just one generation. While this is creating tremendous opportunities for investments and clean development, immense efforts are needed to reach net-zero climate objectives, especially for energy-intensive industries.
This is where Agora Energiewende helps: We develop evidence-based strategies for ensuring the success of the clean energy transitions around the globe. As an independent and non-partisan think tank we share knowledge with stakeholders in the worlds of politics, business, and academia while enabling a productive exchange of ideas.
Our industry programme is internationalising and seeks for a
Project Lead Industrial Transformation Brazil (f/m/d) with a focus on the work of power sector, steel, hydrogen, and bioeconomy.
Full-time or part-time (minimum 32 hours), based in Berlin
Brazil is in a unique position when it comes to natural resources that are strategic for its energy transition and the decarbonisation of the global economy. With a diverse portfolio of renewable energy sources, large forest, agricultural and mineral resources, as well as an important industrial capacity, the country could play an important role in supporting global efforts for decarbonisation and has the opportunity of promoting a socially inclusive and sustainable development of its economy.
You will work closely with our think tank partner in Brazil, the E+ Energy Transition Institute, and with a larger team at Agora on this huge mission. The team is expert, strategic, and busy!
